Support Technician

Exacta Technologies is a dynamic and rapidly growing business that is fast establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in the computer industry. In 2020 we moved to a brand-new state of the art manufacturing facility in Emersons Green, North Bristol.

As part of our growth strategy, we’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic Support Technician to join our team. You’ll have a keen interest in IT and computing and be determined to make a career for yourself. It’s an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to a growing business and make the role your own.

Working as part of the tech team you will be responsible for taking internal and external support calls, ensuring RMAs are followed through within customer expectations, as well as working on internal computer and network infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and has a keen eye for detail.

Exacta Technologies has wide customer base, with products in the CCTV, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Network Emulation and High Frequency Trading sectors, to name a few. Every day is different and presents new challenges, as a Support Technician you will innovate to solve problems not just report them.

Support Technicians are key members of the team, ensuring Exacta continue to meet and raise customer expectations to provide excellent service throughout the business. You will be in a position to influence change as the company continues to grow and expand its reach.

Responsibilities

  • Take 1st line support queries
  • Maintain support knowledgebase
  • Evaluate improvements in support
  • Oversee customer RMA procedure
  • Liaising with customers and internal teams

Candidate

  • A good understanding of the full range of computer hardware and technology
  • Experienced in the hardware industry
  • Articulate with strong communication skills; written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • The ability to adapt and take on new responsibilities
  • A positive proactive attitude
  • Overclocking experience helpful
  • Windows & Linux experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Digital Marketing Assistant (Entry Level Role for a Graduate)

Founded in 2001, the Exacta Technologies group delivers bespoke technology solutions and services to discerning clients across the world. Deploying technology into three key industry sectors worldwide, we design, build, and support disruptive technology solutions. Two years ago we moved to our new HQ in Emersons Green, a state of the art manufacturing facility with an office upstairs.

 

The Role:

This B2B digital marketing role is best suited to someone with a passion for digital marketing and technology. The Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with all marketing and digital activity. The Digital Marketing Assistant will create content in line with expectations; under the direction of the Marketing Manager as well as write copy for social media posts and schedule them in advance. The role will also include website maintenance, copy-writing, image creation, and article publishing.

This role also includes collating analytics data from Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, LinkedIn and more. This data will be reviewed by the Marketing Manager and support the Marketing Manager in demonstrating the return of investment to the CEO. This role will fulfil a variety of duties where attention to detail, a can do attitude, creative mind, and passion for writing are essential. Overall this is an exciting opportunity for a graduate looking to embark on a career in digital marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Data reporting from Google Analytics.
  • Data reporting from Google Ads.
  • Website conversion tracking.
  • HubSpot – General maintenance; assisting the sales team; creating and scheduling email marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media – Creating image and video content based on the monthly marketing content plan, and scheduling posts via Hootsuite.
  • General assistance to the Marketing Manager – such as: event planning; proof reading copy and articles; creating product spec sheets; creating product mock-ups; content ideas.

 

Desired Experience & Education:

  • A Degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing/Media Communications/English.
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Experience using full Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, the ability to be creative & to work well in a team.
