Our thirty-first instalment of the series introduces you to Rob Myers. Rob began working at Exacta in 2023. Rob works in the Warehouse as an Operative; he is responsible for the quality checking, packaging, and shipping of our client's hardware.
How long have you been at Exacta and tell us about your job role?
I’ve been at Exacta since December last year. I work in the warehouse, so I am responsible for checking the quality of products leaving the warehouse, before boxing them up, and dispatching them.
What do you enjoy most about working at Exacta?
The people definitely, it’s a really good working environment.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Taking my dog on walks, watching football, and spending time with my family.
What advice would you give to younger generations who aspire to work in the STEM industry/want the same job role as you?
It’s all about finding the right place and what works for you. It’s best to have a goal set so you have something to work towards, then keep trying and putting in effort.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A speaker, my phone, and probably my dog as well.
If you could teleport anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
New York, you see it in films and it’s just one of those places I’ve always wanted to go.
If you could time travel, where is the first place you would go?
England when the Romans were in charge. You know it would have been completely different to how it is today, but it would be interesting to see how many things from back then can still be seen today.
What are 3 characteristics that best describe you as a person?
Funny, caring, and… Are there any stock ones that you can add in? haha.
