This series will introduce you to a member of team Exacta, so you can meet the dedicated hardworking team that has made Exacta what it is today. Our thirty-fourth instalment of the series introduces you to Hannah. Hannah began working at Exacta in May 2024 as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This means that she works to manage the company’s ledger, oversees invoice processing, reconciles with banks and keeps logs of any changes to purchasing.
How long have you been at Exacta and tell us about your job role?
I’ve been at Exacta since May 2024 and I’m a Purchase Ledger Clerk. I approve when invoices are sent to accounts and then I reconcile the banks and make sure that everything aligns. In simple words, I basically keep a log of everything that comes in and goes out.
What do you enjoy most about working at Exacta?
I like how nice everyone is and it’s a lovely working environment.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I’ve got two kids, so I’m busy with them most of the time, but I like to see my friends and read when I get the chance.
What advice would you give to younger generations who aspire to work in the STEM industry/want the same job role as you?
If you want something, just keep working hard towards it, and you’ll eventually get there.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
My family, a hairbrush, and a radio.
If you could teleport anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Anywhere by the sea, as long as it’s nice and warm.
If you could meet any celebrity, who would you choose?
Louis Theroux, I find him really interesting. I love his podcasts, his interviews and TV shows.
What are 3 characteristics that best describe you as a person?
Honest, kind, and considerate.
