This series will introduce you to a member of team Exacta every month, so you can meet the dedicated hardworking team that has made Exacta what it is today. Our twenty-seventh instalment of the series introduces you to Elisha. Elisha began working at Exacta in November 2023. Elisha is a Digital Marketing Apprentice; this means that she supports the marketing and events department. Elisha's role includes content creation, website maintenance, and collating analytics data.
How long have you been at Exacta and tell us about your job role?
I’ve been with Exacta for seven months now. As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, I’m responsible for assisting the marketing and events department with creating content and product mock-ups, monitoring our websites and social media pages, and data reporting.
What do you enjoy most about working at Exacta?
I love the work ethic we all share. It’s amazing being able to witness the company growing, everyone works so well together, and we all get along well, which is a huge plus.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family, we enjoy finding different activities to do together. I’m always looking for new things to try cooking - emphasis on try! I do like to keep my weekends free when I can, I love a bit of downtime.
What advice would you give to younger generations who aspire to work in the STEM industry/want the same job role as you?
Research is key. Any knowledge you gain before you start your job, will provide you with that extra confidence you need. You’ll have an automatic head start, which gives you more time to focus on your next task. Keeping organised is a must - especially as a Marketer. Lastly, if you’re ever unsure of anything, just ask for guidance.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
Grapes, a blanket, and my boyfriend. I just realised I forgot water, but it’s hypothetical, right!
If you could teleport anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
I would go to St. Kitts and Nevis. That’s where my grandparents are from; I’ve never been but I think it would be amazing to experience in real life, all the places that they would tell me stories about.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I think I’d be more than happy to have my Nan’s Sunday roast for the rest of my life. Nothing can compare.
What are 3 characteristics that best describe you as a person?
Friendly, hardworking, and very random.
