After raising an incredible £36,400 since our first Golf Day in 2023, we’re excited to keep the momentum going and make 2025 another standout year in support of this amazing cause.

Grief Encounter provides crucial support and guidance to children, young people and their families in England and Wales who are struggling to cope with the death of a parent or someone close. Their mission is to help bereaved children find hope and healing, fulfilling a vision where no child grieves alone.

Their work is so important because:

• 1 in 29 children in the UK will experience the death of a parent or sibling before the age of 16
• Without support, bereaved children are more likely to face long-term emotional and mental health challenges
• Grief Encounter provides free, timely, and specialist care when it’s needed most

Their work is close to our hearts. Our CEO and Founder, Nick, lost his mother at the age of thirteen, at a time when grief support for young people was nearly non-existent. His experience fuels our ongoing commitment to Grief Encounter’s mission: ensuring no child has to navigate bereavement alone.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, the day promises plenty to enjoy. We’ll kick things off with an excellent breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 11. After a great afternoon of golf, you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner, an exciting charity auction, and a prize ceremony to wrap things up in style.
